MISSIONS

At Anchor Church Wilmington, we believe that missions are at the heart of God’s work in the world. As followers of Christ, we are called to reach beyond our walls, sharing the love, hope, and salvation found in Jesus with those near and far.

Missions embody the Great Commission, reminding us that the gospel is meant for all people, in all nations. Through serving others, both locally and globally, we participate in God’s redemptive plan, spreading His light in a world that desperately needs it.

Greenfield Lake

Homeless Food Ministry

Anchor’s Greenfield Lake homeless outreach ministry serves meals to those in need on the first Sunday of every month. This ministry provides food, fellowship, and a reminder of God's love and care to the homeless community in our area. It's an opportunity for us to extend Christ’s compassion through hands-on service and build meaningful connections with those experiencing homelessness.

Anchor Church Wilmington has adopted Porters Neck Elementary for the 2024-2025 school year to provide ongoing support to its staff, teachers, and families. Through supply drives, volunteer efforts, and quarterly teacher appreciation events, we aim to show God’s love in practical ways. Our goal is to encourage and equip the teachers as they pour into the lives of their students, while also meeting the needs of the school community. Together, we can make a lasting impact by serving and uplifting those who are shaping the next generation.
